CALL FOR PAPERS
The Sixth International Congress Women Creators: Drawing, Design, and Action aims to highlight scientific and artistic research focused on women artists and designers whose essence is linked to drawing or closely related aspects: graphic reflection, plastic formation, graphic art production, or aesthetics.
Organized by the Research Group HUM-1025 Creation, Graphic Art, Aesthetics, and Gender (CREARESGEN) of the University of Seville, following the success of the I Women Creators Symposium: Drawing, Stroke, and Discourse in 2020, and five previous congresses in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, the academic event targets researchers or artists in the fields of Fine Arts, Art History, Design, Philosophy, Gender Studies, or Aesthetics.
Abstracts of a maximum of 500 words are accepted for the call for papers, which will undergo blind peer review. Once accepted, the submission of the final text in APA7 format and a maximum length of 3.500 words will be requested. After their presentation at the conference, the papers will be published by an editorial with an ISBN.
Languages: Spanish and English.
AREAS AND LINES OF RESEARCH
• Drawing and graphic creation by woman artists and/or designers.
• Graphic work, impact and production of women designers.
• Feminist aesthetic thought as it relates to drawing and design.
• Performance or installation artists whose work uses drawing or graphic language as the basis for their actions.
EXTENDED PUBLICATION
Following the congress, the publication of the presented research will be edited. In addition to the proceedings book, the research team HUM-1025 Creation, Graphic Art, Aesthetics, and Gender (CREARESGEN) reserves the possibility of inviting participating researchers to contribute to other specific publications of the group. Both editions will have an ISBN.

• Each author of a paper must register individually.
• If an author participates in more than one different paper, each registration fee will be charged separately according to the number of accepted papers.
